The IBWL master’s program is characterized by a strong connection between business theory and practice, individual supervision and small group work. You study in well-equipped classrooms and benefit from the services of a large public university. A variety of electronic services, for example access to an electronic library, a learning platform and the use of the university information system based on the Internet, allow flexible organization of studies. There are also many exciting offers available, such as varsity sports, theater and RMV tickets, cultural events and diverse campus life.
The time structure of the degree program allows students to effectively combine full-time employment and study. Class times are Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 5:45pm to 9:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:15pm. The courses take place outside normal working hours. Individual optional lessons can also take place on other days of the week. There is a maximum of one block week per semester. 12 weeks a year are without classes. This ensures that the study program fully meets the requirements for a scientific university degree and that, at the same time, high-quality work can be carried out in the company.
Admission requirements for the IBA degree program (M.Sc.) are at least one year of professional activity and a first degree in economics or a related field. For students who already hold a part-time degree or a double degree, the professional activity for one year is not mandatory. The IBWL degree program (M.Sc.) is subject to limited admission. Introducing Our Courses
The Advanced Standing (AS) program begins each year in the summer semester. Over three semesters, students will earn 36 credits. The program begins with an intensive summer session during which students will complete two 3-credit seminars. After the summer session ends, AS students will join full-time students in their second year of traditional 2-year MSW program courses and internships. Applications may be submitted in the fall prior to admission. The admission announcement will be distributed in September of each application cycle.
