To maintain an intimate classroom environment, a maximum of 40 students are accepted. All previously admitted students must be vaccinated and boosted against COVID and provide proof.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by April 1 and the full course fee of $650 must be paid by April 30, 2018 to secure their place in the program. Applicants will not be considered without all documents or if the criteria described above are not met.

InDent is a week-long summer program designed to introduce students to the dental profession. The program provides participants with a challenging and informative dental experience in VCU’s state-of-the-art facilities.
The Guaranteed Admissions Program accepts up to five high school students annually. After completing a four-year bachelor’s degree at Virginia Commonwealth University, these students are guaranteed admission to dental school. The Preferred Path for Applicants is an alternative for students who are already enrolled at VCU as undergraduate students. Students apply at the end of their second year. If accepted and all requirements are met, these students are guaranteed admission to the school. A maximum of five VCU students are admitted to the program each year.
